Activities and Goals of Cambodian Association of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy
I-Goals:
Assemble Cambodian hepato-gastroenterologist & Endoscopist to promote the advancement of knowledge and to conduct research in the field of Digestive Endoscopy.
II-Objective:
– Further advancement in endoscopic diagnosis and therapy.
– Provide to members latest knowledges in gastrointestinal diseases and endoscopy.
– Benefits the profession and the public by promoting the ongoing research in endoscopy and preparing the scientific journal in the near future.
– Help resident in hepato-gastroenterology access to up-to-date and quality education.
– Join with national and international associations to promote excellence and innovation in endoscopy in Asia-Pacific and create guideline related to hepato-gastroenterology and endoscopy.
III-Activities:
– Online: Facebook page: CAGE CAMBODIA.
– Educational seminars and lectures were taken place once a week.
– CME was arranged once a month.
– Holding Annual scientific meeting in February with National and International speakers.
– Promoting researches for our members.
– Helping doctoral students complete their thesis on gastrointestinal endoscopy.
– Relationship with other international societies.
– Outreach training organized in conjunction with APSDE and Calmette hospital 3 times per year.
– Endoscopy Club E-conference (ECE) teleconference
IV-Result:
– Annual scientific meeting on 22nd February 2020
– 9 boards and 93 members
– Strategies: workshop endoscopy with national of endoscopy center and international of endoscopy center.
